Your Bio

My name is Mike Reid and I live in Boise Idaho with my wife and two children.

Idaho is a great state for photography. The beauty of nature seems to be everywhere.
I took up photography as a hobby a few years ago and quickly grew to love it. I started this site as a way to share some of the beauty of Idaho with folks who maybe are not fortunate enough to live in such a scenic area.

My business name is All Outdoors Photography and I enjoy photographing anything outdoors in natural light. My main interests currently are birds and landscapes.

Katherine and Ryan's wedding at the Banbury Golf Course Eagle : What a day we all had at the Banbury Golf Club in Eagle. Started off hot and sunny then the clouds rolled in and the light for the day was amazing for pictures. Everything went smooth after a late start and we had a good time dodging golfers to get in all the shots for the group. It was a lot of fun and the pictures came out great. With a bride as photogenic as Kathryn how hard can it be right?? The ceremony went off nicely and Kathryn and Ryan were very happy to finally be married. The reception was a lot of fun with some surprise singing guests and some nice dancing to top off the night. The rain even went to the North and missed us. All in all a very nice day and Kathryn and Ryan are off on their honeymoon. Hope you enjoy your pictures and thanks for including us in your day!!

Chelsea and Jordan's Eagle Lds Chapel wedding and Boise Train Depot candids. : We had a great time with Chelsea and Jordan getting their pictures at the Boise Train Depot. It was a perfect day for pictures, nice and cloudy. Chelsea was beautiful in her amazing dress and such a great job was done on her hair, very classy. She was your typical excited bride and it was so fun when we surprised Jordan by hiding Chelsea around the corner. The wedding venue was really amazing looking with an excellent job by Bliss Events to turn the Eagle LDS Chapel gym into a beautiful place for a wedding....what a transformation! The people at Bliss events could not be more helpful and friendly, I love working with them. All About You Catering did a super job on creating a one of a kind beautiful cake and an excellent array of foods for the wedding. Their customer service is so amazing. Really great folks to work with. Chelsea and Jordan were so obviously happy to be together I am sure they will have a long happy life together. Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding day and hope you love your pictures!

Ranee and Sean, engagement pictures in Homedale Idaho. : Ranee and Sean, what can I say..this was right up there with one of my favorite shoots ever. First of all Ranee and Shawn were so much fun, and they had such a great time together during the shoot I just had to click the shutter. On top of that just look at these guys...what a great looking couple. We just had a great time and it shows in the pictures...what's work about that! Then the setting was amazing, we got to play around on all that great machinery..including the honey dipper..nice job on the Price is Right pose Ranee. Then as the sun started to set we headed up to the hills for some sunset shots. It was so beautiful up there. I had them climbing around on the rocks and rolling around on the ground....if you think taking pictures means you just sit there and say cheese...you have never shot with me lol!! Thanks for being such a great subject Ranee and Shawn you were awesome! Hope you guys love the pictures...I can't wait for the wedding!! Seth and Elizabeth's wedding photos at a private residence in Meridian Idaho. (bridal and engagement photos below wedding photos) : Wow, what an attractive couple. What a crazy weather day for a wedding, but the rain held off till right at the end. The ceremony was at a beautiful residence complete with it's own water fall. Seth and Elizabeth are very happy to be married and I wish you two the best of luck in your future together. Hope you love your wedding pictures! These guys were a blast to photograph. Seth is about 6'5" and Elizabeth was about 6'1" in her heels and they were up to try anything. Seth is a great sport and Elizabeth...what great personality, she loves to laugh. We had some great color in the park and very nice weather. Hope you two love your pics...I can't wait see what we get at the wedding!!

What a beautiful place to get married, my new favorite spot. Tiffany was a beautiful bride as we knew she would be!! Crystal and Tyler's wedding at Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise : These two are so cute together. Talk about a couple that was meant to be together. The wedding was a Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise. They hit it perfect for the fall color. It was a cold day, this was the Saturday with the earliest snowfall on record EVER for Boise. Well they were real troopers and everything went off on schedule. After the ceremony we stayed at the park and made the best of a very cold and windy day. It was worth it...the pictures came out great. Thanks Crystal and Tyler it was a blast, hope you love your pictures!

Katie and Trevor engagement pictures at Kathryn Albertson's Park Boise : Katie and Trevor, such a fun couple. We laughed and had a good time all the way through the shoot. Can you tell these two like each other a bit!! We had a great day, perfect weather. They are such a relaxed and easy going couple it made my job so easy. Andrea and Eric Engagement at Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise : Andrea and Eric, talk about a couple that was meant to be together. These two are so at ease with each other they were a joy to photograph. There was no nervous phase, we got right to the good stuff!. Andrea has an amazing personality and Eric was such a good sport the photo shoot was really a lot of fun. As you can see Andrea is very photogenic so my job was very easy, what a great looking couple. If the wedding is half as much fun as the engagement shoot, it is going to be an event to remember! Sarah's senior pictures at Kathryn Albertson's Park Boise : We had a great evening at Kathryn Albertson's Park with Sarah. The greenery is just starting to show and a bit of the spring color as well. With Sarah's blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair we had all the color we needed. Such a pretty girl and really a lot of fun to photograph. Stacy and Matt : The weather is finally getting Nice and Stacy and Matt hit a perfect spring day. Stacy is such a pretty girl and looks great in her engagement photos, Matt was such a good sport and hung in there for a lot of picture taking. A great looking couple who are very comfortable and natural together, they had a good time coming up with some of their own unique poses which really came out nice in the photos. Kris and Christina Engagement pictures Kathryn Albertson's Park Boise : Kris and Christina were a lot of fun at their photoshoot in the park. They got a gorgeous day and were excited to get some fun pictures. We started out with a couple quick family shots, the children were so cute all I had to do was click the shutter. Tara by the Old Prison in Boise : What a great shoot we had last weekend buy the Old Prison out on Warm Springs. The day started off pretty nice and just got colder and colder, by the time we finished it was snowing. Tara is a beautiful classy lady who is a real trooper. We had a lot of fun messing around in the old buildings and at the rock garden. Even though she was freezing she turned out some great poses and we had some laughs. It has an amazing amount of little nooks and crannys. Jessica did a great job right from the start...like she had been posing for the camera all her life. Jackie in downtown Boise. : I first shot Jackie when she was a 17 year old high school senior. Now she is a 20 year old woman and we wanted to shoot her with an edgier style. I think the photos we ended up with were exactly what I was hoping to get for her. We had a great time scouring the alleys of Boise for photo locations. Jackie was kind of freezing but she was real trooper. My job was easy because Jackie is a natural in the front of the camera. As you can see the camera loves her so all I really had to do was just not screw it up lol. Thanks for coming out with me for the shoot Jackie and I hope you love your pictures!!

Farrah and Evyn's wedding at the Castle Gardens in Kuna : Such a genuinely friendly group of people. Farrah and Evyn's familys and friends gathered at Castle Gardens in Kuna. This was a well traveled group with most of them traveling from out of the area to be at the wedding. Mostly from Canada with a few from back East. The facility was set up beautifully (the Castle Gardens staff always does such a good job) and everything went off with no problems. The weather even cooperated after a cold windy morning turning into a beautiful sunny day by afternoon. Farrah and Evyn had a great time visiting with everyone and it was plain to see how happy they were to be married! Farrah and Evyn, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you love the pictures!!

Lori and Robert's Wedding at Island Woods in Eagle Idaho : Well Mother nature threw everything at Lori and Robert but they were not to be denied. It was a cloudy, sunny, rainy, muggy, windy day in June and Lori and Robert got married.] Everything went off just a planned. Lori and Robert had a lot of fun clowning around and getting to see all their friends and relatives. The reception was a lot of fun with great food and everyone was having an excellent time. Laura's portrait shoot at Kathryn Albertson's Park : Laura is such a pretty girl my job was easy. Just put her in front of the camera and shoot is about all I had to do. Back at Kathryn Albertsons Park. There are so many places to shoot down there. It was a windy day but no problem down there in the park with all the wind breaks. Laura was there with her brother and they were joking around with each other and we just had a great time the entire shoot. It shows in the pictures. Noel and Jerod's wedding at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Boise. : A beautiful wedding at the church and then a first class reception at the new banquet facility at Barber Park. The food was awesome and what a great setup they have there. What a classy fun day Noel and Jarod had for their wedding. These guys went first class all the way and had a day with perfect weather as well. Other than the Limo being a little late everything went off with out a hitch..well..... This was the first time we have worked with DJ One One, Brad Wyler...he really brings the fun and really knows his stuff. I hope we can work with him again soon. Alex and Sharon's wedding pictures at the Hilton in Eagle and the LDS Temple in Boise : Last weekend Alex and Sharon were sealed in the LDS Temple in Boise. Cold, cloudy, windy day with a bit of snow which gave us some pretty dramatic skies for the pictures. Everything went smoothly and as usual we had lots of fun getting the pictures. This is the last installment in the wedding process for these two, we were with them all the way from their engagement pictures. I will miss seeing them and taking their pictures... I wish them the best of luck in the future. Hopy you guys love your temple pictures! Alex and Sharon enjoyed a beautiful wedding at the Hilton in Eagle. It was a beautiful winter day with lots of sunshine. Sharon's heritage is Hawaiian so they incorporated some of the culture into their ceremony with beautiful flowers and lei's shipped in from Hawaii for the event. There were Hawaiian dancers and it was a lot of fun for everyone. Alex and Sharon were very happy to finally be married and I am sure they will have a great life together. Congratulations to the two of them and I hope they love their pictures!! We had a great evening in the park with Alex and Sharon. The day was perfect and the fall color was just right. Jessica's Trash the Dress Boise River : Jessica decided that for her 10 year anniversary she'd pull her dress out of the closet and give it one more go. Catarafting the North Fork with Shelly Becker : Shelly Becker is the first......and second woman ever to cataraft the North Fork of the Payette in Idaho near Banks top to bottom of the 15 mile stretch considered by many to one of the most challenging stretches of whitewater in the states. She was the first woman to ever run it last year and so many people told her "anybody can run it once," that she went back this year to do a "PROVE IT!!" run. I was lucky enough to photograph her first decent last year and this time I followed her all the way from the top. Shelly is the real deal!!

What a beautiful place to get married, my new favorite spot. Tiffany was a beautiful bride as we knew she would be!! She looked amazing in that beautiful dress and Jake was looking handsome in his dark suit. Everything went smooth despite a few rain showers... What a great time everyone had at the reception. Tiffany's girls were a blast as they were working the dance floor the whole night. I wish Tiffany and Jake the best of luck in their future ..I know they will be great together! Ranee and Sean, engagement pictures in Homedale Idaho. : Ranee and Sean, what can I say..this was right up there with one of my favorite shoots ever. First of all Ranee and Shawn were so much fun, and they had such a great time together during the shoot I just had to click the shutter. On top of that just look at these guys...what a great looking couple. We just had a great time and it shows in the pictures...what's work about that! Then the setting was amazing, we got to play around on all that great machinery..including the honey dipper..nice job on the Price is Right pose Ranee. Then as the sun started to set we headed up to the hills for some sunset shots. It was so beautiful up there. I had them climbing around on the rocks and rolling around on the ground....if you think taking pictures means you just sit there and say cheese...you have never shot with me lol!! Thanks for being such a great subject Ranee and Shawn you were awesome! Hope you guys love the pictures...I can't wait for the wedding!!
